Carina Kreisch

German actress Carina Kreisch appeared in a couple of German movies while the 1970s, a lot of them near at the borderline between non adult movie and adult movie.

I want to focus on the 1974 German movie SCHULMÄDCHEN REPORT Part 8 - Was Eltern nie erfahren dürfen. This is an early example of a German movie with a performance of a young woman wearing the classic jeans outfit: blue jeans, white cotton blouse and denim vest. On the portrait shot above Carina Kreisch is the cute brunette woman on the left side. The pretty blonde woman on the right side is Sandra Atia, who appeared three years later wearing a denim vest in Schulmädchen Report Part 11 and got her own post here in the blog earlier.

Carina appeared in the bus together with a lot of other young German women, that all made one and more performances in the German Schoolgirl movies in the early, middle and later 1970s. She had a talking role in SCHULMÄDCHEN REPORT 8, but she had no main role and no supporting role, I think she was a background girl mostly appearing in the backgrounds or a part of a group. She main job was to fill up groups, that they appear in the frame as groups.

This was not a performance in the foreground of the movie, but I think, it is a very beautiful little performance of a cute young 1970s woman.

white tornado

The corduroy vest was the little sister of the denim vest in the 1970s. And the white denim vest was the little sister of the blue jean vest. Most people in the 1970s wore denim vest and jean vests and denim waistcoats colored indigo blue. Only a small part of the denim vests that were worn in the 1970s have been colored white, but they have been there and they have been worn. This white denim vest by maybe German brand TORNADO is a good example, because there is a indigo blue piece to compare.

The white one is still available on Etsy:

brown corduroy vest

Well, if there is a little sister of the 1970s denim vest, it may be the 1970s corduroy vest, that appeared a little bit later on the stage. I think it would be unfair, only to remember the denim vest, the blue jean vest and the denim waistcoat and to forget the little sister. The American fashion company Dallas appeared with a set of different denim and corduroy vests in the present and I only focus on the brown corduroy vests here. Corduroy on corduroy, really great retro stuff I think. The people at Dallas have understand the fascination of vintage clothing. Thank you for that. More from Dallas maybe later.
