Olá from Brazil

Some magazine clips from 1976 to 1978 from Brazilian magazines. Found in the WWW, especially here:

Language in Brazil is Portuguese, not Spanish, so denim vest means colete jeans here. The text in the magazine clip from 1976 on the left side of the beautiful woman is about the clothing, she is wearing here:

Trousers and vest combination ideal for a more relaxed style. The trousers are straight and have a nice stitching details on the legs, which are repeated on the vest's patch pocket. This one is collarless and buttoned at the front. The striped shirt and ankle boots complete the outfit.

We have Brazilian actress Gloria Pires on this magazine cover from 1978. Text on the right side of Gloria says: Gloria Pires and Lauro Corona love each other like grown-ups

What I really would like to see, what wasn't available, is a part from the inside of the magazine, description on the right bottom of the page:

Special - 32 pages in color - jeans 79 - young people prefer blue

We have another picture from Gloria here, that was little bit blurry, someone tried to sharpen it:

More pictures of beautiful Gloria with (denim) vest:

Brazilian singer Clara Nunes with denim vest in a magazine clip:

As Granfinas e o Camelô is a Brazilian movie from 1976. The painted advertise shows a woman with denim on denim outfit, including blue jeans and denim vest.

I found the girl with the outfit also in the movie, but in reality it seems to have been a denim vest inspired denim outfit, but not a denim on denim one with a real vest.

American movie GREASE from 1978 came to Brazilian cinemas and there is a woman with denim vest in the crowd:

Brazil singer Wanderléa with some denim outfits:

I'm not sure about Lili is wearing a denim vest or a denim overall here, but...

And at the end there is a Fotonovela showing a woman with denim vest as part of the story telling. More pictures from Brazil will come soon.
