The movie was available in high resolution, so I took more vidcaps of the beautiful actress than planned. It seems, that her denim vest is the same model, that was used as part of the female uniform of the Up with People - casts in the season 1977-1978. Compare here:
Only difference: Kathleen wears a light blue one, the Up with people females indigo blue colored pieces. I checked her timeline, Kathleen was not part of the cast or choir, she already worked as an actress before and while the Up with people casts of the 77-78 seasons were on their tour.
I wasn't able to find out, which jeans company designed the denim vest model. It seems to have been so popular in the United States around 1977-1978, that it was chosen to be part of Kathleens outfit and to be part of the Up with people uniforms at the same time.
