Advertising for jeans and denim wear from Finland 1975. Found in the WWW
Dedicated to all the beautiful women around the world wearing denim jeans vests while the 1970s this may also be some kind of online museum for the jean vests and denim waistcoats, that were an important part of the fashion in the 70s.
Finnish singer Pauliina aka Paula Erko wears a denim vest on a 1976 vinyl single cover. Found in the WWW.
Five pieces in the exhibition now:
- 1 farkkuliivi by James (Finland)
- 1 farkkuliivi by Jesse (Italy / Finland)
- 2 jeansvästs by Silver Dollar's (Sweden)
- 1 jeansväst by Lucas (Sweden)
JAMES was a Finnish jeans company, that also sold denim vests (farkkuliivi) in the 1970s.
JESSE jeans maybe is not a Skandinavian, but an Italian jeans company and brand. But I'm pretty sure, that the denim vest below (farkkuliivi) was sold in Finland too on the same page as the vest by James before.
Last pieces are from Skandinavia, these are denim vests (jeansväst) from Swedish companies SILVER DOLLAR'S and LUCAS. One was sold in Finland, two were in Sweden.

I found these videos from a vintage Swedish music education tv-show, that seems to have been shown in Sweden and also Finland around 1974. And sometimes there is a young woman wearing a denim vest between all the musicians.
