French actress Maria Schneider wore a vest in the 1977 filmed and 1981 published French movie Merry Go Round. On black and white photos it looks like a denim vest, but in reality it was a dark green velour like vest with a satin back.

Biale Tango
Polish actress Tatiana Sosna-Sarno appeared in the Polish tv-series BIALE TANGO from 1981. She wears an office outfit with blue skirt, blouse and denim vest.
Polish actress Dorota Stalinska also appeared in BIALE TANGO wearing denim, but not as straight as Tatiana.
