Happy Days is an American TV show, set in the 1950s. So this is not the place to watch out for 1970s denim vest girls. But then I saw this low resolution vidcap:
And the girl on the right looks like wearing a denim vest. Ok! She is part of a female biker gang in one of the episodes.
From the point of clothing history this is totally bullshit. They may have worn denim vest in the 1950s by cutting of the sleeves of denim jackets, but those suit vest like denim vests did not appear in the 1950s. And not in the 1960s.
I wasn't able to find the whole episode in the free WWW but a sequence, also showing that denim vest wearing woman. I'll take her to the collection nonetheless.
