American actress Diana Muldaur maybe wore a blue jean vest while her performance in one episode of the American TV-series Carter Country in 1977. The available clip is not high resoluted and there are no production stills or promo photos to verify it. But it's possible, that the piece was a denim vest.

JAMES was a Finnish jeans company, that also sold denim vests (farkkuliivi) in the 1970s.
JESSE jeans maybe is not a Skandinavian, but an Italian jeans company and brand. But I'm pretty sure, that the denim vest below (farkkuliivi) was sold in Finland too on the same page as the vest by James before.
Last pieces are from Skandinavia, these are denim vests (jeansväst) from Swedish companies SILVER DOLLAR'S and LUCAS. One was sold in Finland, two were in Sweden.

I'm not sure about this denim vest. The way it is designed, looks hardly elkont like, maybe it is elkont or if not possibly elkont inspired.
