HELLO Fans

 

The British rock band HELLO was one of those boy bands from the 1970s known for wearing much denim, really much, and also many denim waistcoats. So it is not a surprise, that their female fans liked to wear denim waistcoats too. 

HELLO wearing DENIM ON DENIM

I'm not sure about this video. The band plays a song on the stage and two girls run into the room and sit down near the stage, listening to the music. I always want to see, that one of the girl wears a dark denim waistcoat, but it also can be a sleeveless dark sweater vest. I wasn't able to find the video in a better quality and resolution.

There were some women with blue jean vests appearing in the American trucking magazine OVERDRIVE while the 1970s and early 1980s.

One of the women from the British Girls Band MOTHER TRUCKER wears a vintage 70s denim waistcoat on some of their 1975 vinyl cover artworks. And all the girls seem to like wearing denim.
