In the Canadian movie MEATBALLS from 1979 Canadian actress Sarah Torgov wears a blue jean vest, maybe brand Landlubber. Found in the WWW

I think, she wears a denim vest made by Landlubber here.

Looking at this lobby cards the actress may have been wearing the vest another time in the movie, but I haven't seen the moment in the movie. It's possible, that the second appearance only happened on the promotional picture.

It's also possible, that it's not the denim vest, but the grey suit vest, she wore in another scene of the movie.

Historieätarna was a Swedish TV-Show from 2012, focussing on another gone decade in every episode. At the beginning of the 1970s episode actress Lotta Lundgren wears a denim vest while eating plums together with two guys.

Ok, it's the present, not the 70s, but sometimes it must be possible to make a exception. As here for the women of Runaway June, especially Naomi Cooke. She wears a woman jean vest by Wrangler, blue front, white back.

Hindu actress Asha Sachdev was pictured with a piece looking like a denim waistcoat in the 1970s or early 1980s. I wasn't able to find out, which year the picture was taken. Maybe it's only a publicity still, maybe it's a cap from one of her movies. I had a look at a lot of her movies, but couldn't find a sequence with this outfit. Not now, maybe later...
