Dazed and Confused

 

DAZED AND CONFUSED is an American Coming of Age-movie from 1993, set in Austin, TX in the year 1976. It's American actress Michelle Burke, who plays Jodie and wears a denim on denim outfit with blue jeans and a vintage denim vest in parts of the movie. Pictures found in the WWW. Presentation is not chronological.

I've seen that kind of denim vest she's wearing here a couple of times before. I think, it was this model:

The jeans brand may have been LEGION ETRANGERE, that means the French Foreign Legion.

Janey Bombshell Special Part Three

 

I know only two women from the British Islands earning a title like denim waistcoat queen or denim waistcoat goddess. One is Sally James, the other is Janey Bombshell.

Janey is singer of the band The Jackie Generation starring at the Supersonic 70s Show and amongst a lot of deep 1970s outfits she also wears one with a fantastic denim on denim look. The denim waistcoat being central part of this outfit (and an eyecatcher) was one from vintage jeans company FALMERS.
