American Singer Katy Perry appeared with her vintage denim vest more than one time in public. Here in the very early days around 2001, when she was Katy Hudson:
I'm sure, it's a popular vintage model by Wrangler jeans from the 1970s, worn by this woman too for example:
Later in 2005 the vest was worn again by Katy, now Perry, while an appearance on a Korn party.
And once again the Wrangler vest saw the public, when Katy Perry entered the stage in January 2006, together with P.O.D. at the Jay Leno Show, as their background singer.

I know only two women from the British Islands earning a title like denim waistcoat queen or denim waistcoat goddess. One is Sally James, the other is Janey Bombshell.

Janey is singer of the band The Jackie Generation starring at the Supersonic 70s Show and amongst a lot of deep 1970s outfits she also wears one with a fantastic denim on denim look. The denim waistcoat being central part of this outfit (and an eyecatcher) was one from vintage jeans company FALMERS.
Most of time Janey appears with the wellknown vintage FALMERS denim waistcoat, but there has been a second one, which appeared while a promotion session and following Janey it is from the British Jeans company BRUTUS.
