I found some more Magyar women from the 1970s with denim vests on a great Hungarian website named FORTEPAN. Some a younger and some are older and most are not in the focus of the photographers attention, but hidden somewhere in the picture or in the background. And I'm not always sure, if that is really a denim vest or do I only want to see one there.
And this picture is so 1970s: a man with denim vest interviews a woman with blue jean vest. Both wear denim on denim. I like that!!!
Czech actress Zlata Adamovská in the 1980 Czech movie Něco je ve vzduchu, wears a blue jean vest in three different parts of the movie.
I found a page with scans from Otto mail order catalogs from 1977, showing women wearing vintage denim and jeans vests. One cord vest is also among the pieces. This is a first part, more will follow soon.
